Using heritage lighting in Ayodhya: CM Yogi Adityanath to officials | Lucknow News

LUCKNOW: Reviewing development work in Ayodhya for the second time this month, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Saturday that the temple city should be developed as a sustainable city, an international tourist site and a religious center in accordance with the tradition of Sanatan.
The CM discussed conservation of water resources, intelligent traffic management system, animal protection, construction of outer ring road and other roads, solar projects, tree planting and new job opportunities.
For the widening of the road to Ram Temple, Yogi said land acquisition should be done after consensus and arrangements be made to relocate affected traders and residents.
He said a utility conduit should be in place for underground wiring and water pipes so that roads are not constantly dug for repair work.
“Heritage lighting must be done in the city. The panch kosi, chaudah kosi and chaurasi kosi parikrama pathways should be developed with their religious significance in mind, ”said the CM.
He asked those in charge of the tourism service to develop the heritage, historical and religious sites of the city.
He asked officials to identify and acquire land for various sects, institutions, guesthouses, etc. Discussing the international museum project, the CM said it should be developed in accordance with “ancient pride” and modern knowledge. He said multi-level parking lots with spaces for commercial activities should be developed at train and bus stations.
