Tom Cruise parachutes down a hiking trail in the UK while filming “Mission: Impossible”
Nothing is impossible when “Mission Impossible” is running on the spot.
A man was walking in England’s Lake District when Tom Cruise jumped from a helicopter and found himself in the middle of the hiking trail on Friday, according to The Sun, which posted wild footage of the waterfall.
The disconcerting encounter, during the filming of “Mission: Impossible 7”, left Andras Katica and his friend Tutyi “totally flabbergasted”, according to the article.
“I certainly didn’t expect to run into Tom Cruise on my hike,” Katica reportedly said.
“But he was really nice and offered to have his picture taken. He looked like he was having a good time, but he was also clearly involved in some serious work for the shoot.
Cruise, 59, does his own stunts, even when he’s not timed.
In August he was forced to make an emergency helicopter landing in a Warwickshire garden due to the closure of a nearby airport.
“By the time he parachuted there was a small crowd gathered but Tom showed no sign of nervousness. He obviously enjoys the thrill of being involved in his own stunts, ”Katica told point of sale.
In June, Cruise should have self-isolated after cast and crew tested positive for COVID-19. He was recorded last year attacking workers on set who he said did not take COVID-19 protocols seriously.
The film is slated for release next fall.
