Hyundai Creta Drowns in Sea at Vagator Beach in Goa – Car Seized, Driver Arrested

With the monsoon in full swing, the beaches of Goa are much less crowded and it seems that a few tourists from Delhi have decided to take advantage of the situation. The couple drove a rented Hyundai Creta from local vendors to Vagator Beach for some fun on the beach sand.

Various videos circulating about the incident show the Creta being driven in circles on the flooded beach as tourists from the nation’s capital ‘enjoyed’ their stay at the Goa beach.

Thoughts on the incident with the Creta in Goa

The incident with the Creta at Vagator Beach is yet another case of talent not matching the lead-footed person’s overconfidence. The fact that the weather was so stormy when this latest madness started should have put an end to it. However, as everyone now knows, this incident happened and the Creta got stuck in the sinking sands with sea water all around. If the car’s owner ever gets it back, a new engine might just be the least of his worries.
