David A. Grover, 59, of Bridgton, died suddenly on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Maine Medical Center in Portland.
He was born on February 15, 1962 in Bridgton, son of Donald and Shirley (Seamon) Grover. He attended local schools and immediately went to work locally in the shoe store for 26 years.
He worked for a short time at Bridgton Transfer Station before going to work for the local NAPA in Bridgton and was a loyal employee for 15 years, making many friends.
David was a real outdoorsman and couldn’t spend enough time on the water or in the woods hunting and fishing. He was a member of the NRA and also enjoyed playing darts, riding countless miles on his motorcycle, and birdwatching.
David is survived by his wife, Donna (Skillings) of Bridgton, whom he married March 14, 1986; her daughter, Denise Cyr, her husband, Jeromy of Chelsea and their children, Kole and Dominic; her daughter-in-law, Shantell Capone, her partner, Pat Walsh and their son, Derrick of Jackson, NH; stepson, Travis Vaughn of Naples; one brother, Donald Grover and his wife, Grace of Norway; Godson, Tucker Warren of Alfred; nieces, nephews and many great friends.
He was predeceased by his parents; siblings, Virginia Mitchell and Linda Thompson.
A memorial visitation and celebration of David’s life will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Casco’s Hall Funeral Home. Tributes can be shared with David’s family and friends at www.hallfuneralhome.net.
